Need the Human Touch in Fergus

Well it’s done, it took awhile, learned a lot about carving hands and airbrushing, now it’s time to let go. I’m excited to see the response by the public. It’s located at the corner of St David St and St Patrick St in Fergus
Getting the correct Redstart colours

I had to improve my powers of observation, once I actually saw a real redstart in the backyard!
At Maplefest
Had a great day of carving at the Maplefest in Port Elgin March 24.
Buffalo times
Practicing in clay for a multiple stump carving. A buffalo head is an impressive thing indeed.
Spring is coming soon
My throttle finger for the carving saw is getting twitchy. What am I looking forward to trying this spring? Plan to do some serious carving with a battery operated saw. Stay tuned. My log pile is ready to go.

I’m still getting set up, but hope to be making wood […]

CanCarve.com is now online!

It took some serious web design learning, however, CanCarve.com (aka GetAHeadCarvings.com) is now functional. Still need to ‘chip away’ at some of the rough parts of the site. Check it out – it’s all about chainsaw carving (sorry, no chainsaw juggling).
